Green Dip

Halloween party - Witches' Fingers, Spooky Eggs, Ghosts and Green Dip

Today I am going to share a recipe I made for Halloween last year, the GREEN DIP.

Last year I had my first Halloween party. O.k., It was not a big party, as we were only 5, but it was a party all the same.

Each one of us brought something different to eat and to drink. I decided to prepare more just to make sure that we had enough. However, I am from a country where we do not celebrate Halloween and had no idea what to do.

I started to search at the internet and found out that most of what is served in these parties is normal food with a different shape. After that I decided to make Witches' Fingers and a Green Dip.

I printed the recipes and by mistake forgot to bring them with me to the supermarket, which I did not notice until the day of the party. Because of that I ended up without the correct ingredients for the dip.
The good thing is that I love to change recipes and this one was not different. So I got all ingredients I had and used them instead of what was in the recipe I had. I know ..... I was worried about the result, but my friends loved and asked me the recipe.

GREEN DIP

Ingredients:

100 g - cream cheese
250 g - cottage cheese
4 tbs - pesto
garlic powder
parsley, finely chopped
spring onions, finely chopped
salt
pepper

Preparation:

1 - In a bow, combine cream cheese, cottage cheese and pesto.

2 - Season with garlic, parsley, spring onions, salt and pepper

3 - Keep it refrigerated

This dip is lovely with salty biscuits.
